SUN Home Health and Hospice delivers "Healthcare on Wheels," providing vital services to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their own homes. SUN Home Health and Hospice nurses travel thousands of miles each year offering their own special brand of compassion and care.

As part of our mission, SUN Home Health and Hospice is committed to providing skilled homecare to all eligible patients regardless of their ability to pay or payer source. Support from the community helps the organization to provide care for patients needing services, fund community outreach, and helps to assure the delivery of high quality services using necessary technology and equipment. Changes in healthcare have made it more difficult to continue providing these critical services to those who cannot afford to pay for their care or who have inadequate payer sources.

Outright Gifts

Donations of Cash
Donations of cash may be made in one payment or over time.

Highly Appreciated Securities
Appreciated securities such as stock, allow you to take a deduction for the full current value of the asset rather than your cost. In addition, you avoid capital gains tax.

Planned Gifts

Planned gifts are pledges of gifts made today to be paid over a period of time, sometime in the future or through a special planned giving instrument.

Bequests
The official name of the organization, for inclusion in a will is SUN Home Health Services, Inc.

Trusts
Charitable Remainder, Charitable Lead and Annuity Trusts all help provide future stability for SUN Home Health and Hospice while offering tax breaks and current or future income to you and/or your family.

Life Insurance
By naming SUN Home Health as owner and beneficiary of a Term Life Insurance policy you are able to make a significant contribution to SUN Home Health's future stability. SUN Home Health makes the annual premium payments and you make an annual contribution to SUN Home Health equal to the cost of the premium. Your contributions may be deductible.

Heritage Circle
Recognizes individuals who have made a commitment of a planned gift to SUN Home Health.

Legacy Circle of Caring
Recognizes individuals who have made lifetime irrevocable commitments of $25,000 or more to SUN Home Health. This can include both planned and annual gifts.
